Try the new Aqua Lung Mistral Twin-Hose Regulator
The new Aqua Lung Mistral is the only current production twin-hose regulator on the open market. Underwater photographers and naturalists can really benefit from using the new Aqua Lung Mistral regulator. The twin hose design means that your exhaust bubbles are expelled behind your head. Because the bubbles are behind you, your field of view ahead is kept clear - there's none of the annoying bubble trails drifting into view so often associated with conventional single hose regulators. The bubbles are also more dissipated, and together with being farther away from your subject, makes your exhalations through the Aqua Lung Mistral much less violent. Animals feel them less and shy creatures become much easier to approach. Our courses are run according to the Mavericks training philosophy.

Outline
The original Aqua Lung was based around a twin-hose design and the first commercial regulator was the Aqua Lung CG45, manufactured over sixty years ago. The Mistral series was introduced in 1955. The new Aqua Lung Mistral was launched in 2005. Completely revamped, the New Mistral is cleverly based upon a modern Aqua Lung Titan regulator. Unlike the original Mistrals and most other classic twin hose demand valves, the new version accepts direct feeds and octopus rigs, making it much more compatible with modern diving practices.

The New Mistral fills a niche in the serious underwater photographers, videomakers and naturalists equipment locker. Until its introduction, those who appreciated the benefits of twin-hose regulators had to depend upon pressing valves at least twenty years old into service for which parts are rarely available and with which few service technicians have experience. The new Mistral regulator from Aqua Lung is a wonderful solution. Users of the Aqua Lung new Mistral include Peter Scoones, Tom Peschak, Constantionos Petrinos and John Collins.

Twin hose regulators breathe a little differently to single-hose valves and have a few quirks you need to be aware of. But the list of users proves the value of this unique regulator. If you would like to try the New Aqua Lung Mistral, why not call Steve Warren or Andrew Pugsley and arrange to test one at Action Underwater Studios? Action Underwater Studios has been used for filming sequences for the Bond, Bourne, Star Wars and Harry Potter productions and the 6 metre deep filming tank is the ideal location to trial the new Aqua Lung Mistral yourself. Andrew and Steve are experienced twin-hose users (for years these two NAUI Worldwide instructors have collected and dived an extensive range of twin hose regulators). They'll quickly show you the ropes.
