Martin Edge is considered one of the best underwater photography educators around. A multi award winning image maker in his early days, more than twenty years on he has become renowned as the man who teaches others to create their own stunning marine portfolios. In their successes, Martin sees his own reward. Martin has reached, taught and influenced thousands through his long running column for Sport Diver Magazine and his definitive handbook, now in its third updated edition, The Underwater Photographer. His workshops are ever popular and his overseas photography expeditions always sold out.

Martin was a speaker at our first Visions in the Sea underwater photography festival and has presented his ideas and techniques many times since. In 2006 Martin received The Visions in the Sea Award For Outstanding Contributions to Underwater Photography.

This is a very special opportunity to learn from the man in person. We have asked Martin to make two presentations on the night. We expect his first talk to begin at 19:00 and then we will take a half hour break around 19:45. Martin will then share more of his knowledge with us. Finishing time is expected to be around 21:30. There will be an opportunity to purchase copies of The Underwater Photographer and have them signed. Many of you will already own copies, so please bring them along if you'd like a dedication.
