The Flexus features a splashguard on the barrel tip which helps prevent minor splashes entering the tube instead of letting them reach the diver. A sump below the mouthpiece drains water through two exhaust valves with the gentlest exhalation after a snorkel dive. The valves are very easy to clean and manufactured from silicone for longevity. The mouthpiece is the Aqua Lung Comfo Bite, again made from silicone for softness, and easily replaced if you chew through it. The mouthpiece swivels for even greater comfort, all of which makes this a very nice snorkel to use for long periods.
