Slates and Comms
Communicating with other divers beyond the limits of simple hand signals is often important. Slates are the most common way to get information across, but they are also used to write down dive plans, map sites and make notes. Mavericks offer a selection of slates to meet your specific requirements.
Standard Slate
Hardwearing white plastic slates complete with pencil and attachment clip. Available in two sizes: 4" x 6" and 6" x 8".
Glow Slate
Hardwearing plastic slate with white luminous finish. Designed to be read more easily in low light. Supplied with pencil. Available in two sizes: 4" x 6" and 6" x 8".
Arm Slates
Arm slates save you fumbling in pockets for ordinary slates. They are also a great way to keep your dive plan in easy sight while operating dump valves or winding in reels.

Bowstone Slate Pouch
Designed to be worn on your forearm, this pouch conveniently keeps your slates in easy view. It's intended that it will be used to store pre-planned run times and contingency information. With two wrist straps, available in two versions: 2 slate pouch holds two tablets; and 3 slate pouch holds three tablets.
Bangers and Rattles
Tank Banger
Used to attract another divers attention. Secures around tank using provided bungee. Pull the hard plastic ball and release to make a racket.
Scuba Rattle
Simply shake the tube to set off a rattle and get your buddy's attention. Compact hardwearing alloy tube stows easily in BCD pocket. Supplied with adjustable lanyard.
