Equipment Maintenance
It's vital to think about being self-sufficient when diving. Diving often takes place far from well stocked dive shops and a broken mask strap can be enough to put you---and possibly your buddy---out of action.

Mavericks Diving offers a full line in user-replaceable spares for the equipment we sell. That way we can easily make up a personal save-a- dive kit geared to the equipment you own. We also provide tools and tool kits for carrying out basic tasks such as removing or installing pressure gauges, direct feeds and primary or back up second stages. However we would be politically incorrect if we did not state that messing with life support kit is not something you should do if untrained---and we're not insulting your intelligence, we're playing the liability game...

Saeko Dive Save-A-Dive Kit
A must have, if you haven't already built up your own customised spares kit. Neatly packaged in a compact carry pack, you'll find a spare fin strap, four tank O-rings (O-rings for tanks aren't standard, by the way), a silicone mask strap, a silicone mouthpiece, a snorkel holder, two plastic pins for your mask or fin buckle and two tie wraps.
Deluxe Divers Tool Kit
This very neatly packaged tool kit contains pretty much everything you need for making minor repairs and adjustments to your equipment---anything major should probably be referred to a professional service technician.

A set of 8 allen keys lets you remove and install regulator port caps or make adjustments to many camera housing controls, as well as remove and replcace DIN inserts into tank valves. Two adjustable wrenches let you separate hose adapters or hold a first stage while removing or replacing a hose. Phillips-head and flat-head screwdrivers are often useful for repairing torches. For more involved stripdowns, a 7-piece screwdriver set is also provided. Pliers come in useful for snapping off mouthpiece tie wraps. An O-ring pick makes getting those small seals out of their grooves a breeze.

The Deluxe Divers Tool Kit is an excellent first choice to accompany your save-a-dive kit.

Scuba Tools
Scuba tools offer a compact alternative to a kit of separates---and, you can only lose the whole tool: not just the vital bits! They are based on the principle of the ever popular Swiss Army Knife.
Scubamaster Multi Tool
The Scuba Master Multi Tool is manufactured from stainless steel to ensure it will be working when you need it---and not rusting. Aimed at the diver who wants to be able to make simple field alterations and replacements to their kit, the Scuba Master is equipped with seven key tools.

There are two flat-head screwdrivers, often useful for working on torches and camera equipment, a Phillips-head driver which is similarly indespensable, two Allen keys for removing and replacing regulator port plugs and an O-ring removal tool. A special feature is that the Scuba Master also has an adjustable spanner, making it easy to remove and replace first-stage hoses.
